Project description

b-Cat has build 2 CA-chambers in Wilson (NC, USA) for effective insect control of tobacco for UTC (United Tobacco Company).

The project is comprised of two big treatment chambers, each of them able to hold 600 C48 cartons, equal to 120 metric tons. The chambers are built in an existing warehouse in Wilson NC, USA.
The CA-chambers have doors on two sides, separating a “dirty” and “clean” area. In this way the risk of re-contamination after treatment in the chambers is limited to a minimum.

Chris Eberle (COO of UTC) looks back to a successful and timely installation of the project. ““The installation was moving very quickly. I am very impressed with the installation teams of b-Cat. They are very professional and work very hard”.
