For BAT Türkiye we have realized 9 controlled Atmosphere chambers for the treatment of the incomming products, each chamber is able to handle 7 40”ft container.

In the existing bounded warehouse at the factory side in Samsun we have designed a lay-out of the Controlled Atmosphere Treatment chambers with an incoming and a clean-side. Each chamber will have therefor 2 large gastight vertical doors. They aim is to tread all incoming tobacco to avoid any contamination in the clean warehousing.

BAT Turkey started its activities at the factory in Tire, İzmir, in 2002. In 2010, BAT Turkey transformed its factory in Samsun into a production base which is one of the largest factories within the BAT Group.
