b-Cat is proud to present the successful implementation of Controlled Atmosphere (CA) treatment chambers at Glendale Warehouse in Edison, New Jersey, USA.

With this investment, Glendale Warehouse has strengthened its capabilities by introducing an advanced, non-chemical insect treatment solution for stored commodities.

The installation enables Glendale Warehouse to offer its customers an environmentally responsible alternative to traditional chemical fumigation, combining effective insect control with product quality preservation.

Four CA Chambers – Flexibility and Treatment Capacity

The facility is equipped with four dedicated Controlled Atmosphere chambers, allowing Glendale Warehouse to organize treatment operations efficiently and accommodate different customer requirements.

The b-Cat technology uses nitrogen to reduce oxygen concentrations inside gas-tight treatment chambers. By maintaining precisely controlled oxygen levels and temperatures for a specified treatment period, the system creates conditions that are lethal to stored-product insects, including eggs, larvae, pupae and adults.

The entire process is automatically monitored and controlled, ensuring consistent treatment conditions and providing recorded treatment data for quality assurance and traceability.
